St. Ignatius Small Groups

Are you looking for a closer relationship with God and a new prayer life?  Are you willing to commit to one hour of Scripture reading, meditation, and prayer each day and meet for one hour a week in a small group?  If yes, the discipline of the St. Ignatius exercises is for you! LightWorks: A Program for Beginners

LightWorks is a five-week program led by Judy and Dick Williams.  Participants meet weekly and are exposed to the St. Ignatian concepts for getting the most out of each day.

  • How to start off your day with God and enjoy His presence
  • Many ways to pray effectively and to actively listen
  • How to develop an 'attitude of gratitute', or learning to be thankful for God's gifts
  • How to become more aware of God's individual purpose for YOUR life
  • Daily scripture-based prayer exercises
  • How to write down experiences and to share them with like-minded Christians
  • Looking back on each day and learrning to make changes (the Examen).
  • Making good choices for God and your future

Bethel

Bethel is a 40-week overview study of both the Old and New Testaments. Class will be taught in 7-week modules with breaks for the holidays.  To register for the class, call Janice in Adult Education, (949) 574-2236. Moms' Bible Study

The Psalmist David had a heart for God. Would you like to learn how to have a heart like his? Think about joining us for a study:  The Heart Like His, Searching the Heart of God through a study of David.

Crown Financial Ministry

Crown Financial Ministry is a financial stewardship Bible study that runs for 10 weeks. In this confidential study you will learn how to manage your resources from God's perspective in a small-group setting where you will be encouraged, prayed for, held accountable and led by God's spirit. Two hours of preparation are required weekly outside of class. The cost is $45.00 per person or $55.00 per married couple.
