It is crucial that today's youth are exposed to what the Scripture has to say about a positive Christian life in the midst of our secularized and changing world. The Junior High Department responds by helping young people make the transition from childhood to adulthood so they can be the persons God wants them to be.
Sunday Morning
We meet each Sunday at 10:15-11:30 a.m. in the Main Conference Room (the Old Library.) Please join us as we worship together, study, and spend time in prayer. Bring your friends!
Wednesday Evenings
POOL PARTY AND BBQ Wednesday, July 2, 16 and 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Meer's home in Dover Shores, 301 Morning Star Lane, Newport Beach. Bring your swimsuit, towel and friends!!
Small Groups:
7th Grade Girls Small Group meets on Thursday, July 3 (Dessert and Movie Night) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and July 24 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. We meet at 529 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach.
8th Grade Girls Small Group meets on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at 529 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach. Tuesday, July 8, 22 and August 5 is TACO NIGHT. We meet from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on these nights.
7th Grade Guys Small Group meets on Friday afternoons fom 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Mariners Park in Newport Beach. We will NOT meet on July 4.
8th Grade Guys Small Group meets on Friday afternoons from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Mariners Park in Newport Beach. We will NOT meet on July 4.
Special Events:
LAKE HUME CAMP sign ups have begun. We will head to the lake on August 10 through the 16. Total cost is $450.00, with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit due at sign up. This is an awesome camp, so talk it up with your friends too!
