At St. Andrew's we are committed to fulfilling
our mission statement. An important part of our mission is to
nurture, and equip people in the Christian faith. We are
to "grow up in every way into Christ, who is the Head of
the Church."
As adults, we continue our spiritual
journey through study, prayer, solitude, worship, witness, and
mission. Classes help us grow in our understanding of the
faith and give us "tools" for more effective ministry
where God has placed each of us. We grow and become equipped
in community.
Women's
Ministries
The unique opportunities offered for women include a variety of
experiences that include biblical study, weekly covenant group
commitment (for all ages throughout the week), annual spiritual
retreats, conferences and inter-generational fellowship events
such as the all women's annual tea.
Prayer and Spiritual Direction
Without growing in the discipline of prayer and the spiritual formation disciplines, spiritual growth is limited. We are committed to involving our men and women in opportunities to receive special prayers for direction and healing, and also ministering to others who are in crisis and need of special prayer.
Care-Giving Ministries and Support and Recovery
We believe that God calls us to become whole
people as we grow in our understanding and walk with Christ. We
have all been wounded by life because we live in a fallen world.
As Christians, we do fall short, often miss the mark and, at crisis
points in our lives, need restoration and healing. Our care-giving
and support and recovery ministries offer a variety of opportunities
to become more healthy in covenant community. Find

Covenant Group Ministries
Covenant groups are a place to grow spiritually;
find Christian friends; feel a part of the family of God; study,
pray and share together in a safe and confidential environment;
and be held accountable to grow in the faith. Groups are
made up of 10-12 people; meet weekly (or biweekly) in homes or
at the church, and are committed to encourage one another and
build one another in the faith. Call Adult Education, 949.574.2235 to be placed in a group.
